Hello, let's begin with a thank you! A thank you for reading my first post. I'm hoping to give y'all alittle inspiration, advice, tips and tricks, recipes, home renovation advice, gardening and so much more with this blog! Create a safe space to share, vent, tell stories to inspire, to hope, to believe in one's self and pass no judgment whatsoever! Let me introduce my myself and give alittle back ground history of my life thus far. 🙂

Hello, my name is Myra Foisy, I grew up in the rural community of Cherryville, BC in the West Okanagan, in a family of eight! It's a quaint village with many quirky, redneck hillbilly people and I mean that in the most polite way too lol! I still have alot of family there and that little town is a gem, I miss it dearly!! 😢

We moved over to Alberta in the Summer of 1991, I was seventeen! And when I say we, I mean the entire family, dad, mom, brothers and sister in laws, sister, nephew and niece. My family has always been in the logging industry and the market started to decline in our area, so it was decided to pack up everything and make the big move to AB, to start a new life and maybe find some stability!

I finished my grade 12 year here in Alberta, met and married my high school sweetheart, had three beautiful daughters together, got divorced after 5 years of marriage. 😒

After many years of being a single mom, I found love again with a wonderful man, named Duane and we moved to the Edson, Alberta area in 2014. ❤

Life has definitely thrown me some curve balls and there were a few times I do not know how I managed to survive some of them! But I always looked to my children in those dark moments, thoughts and times!! They were always my drive, inspiration and greatest joy (and still are)! ❤
